Hey, Richard!

Richard,

We miss you in East Lansing! No more than a week goes by without somebody mentioning your name...Deepa or Les or Neera or Diane or John or Murari or Sandra...always somebody...and always with a smile. We look forward to having you back here for a bit of time this Fall.

Things are a bit tough these days; the Michigan economy isn't doing very well. It's the inevitable shake out time (happens to people and societies). This is just our time...but it's tough.

I've only played golf twice this Summer--on back to back days in New York--and that has been it for me. Being away on international travels for all of June played havoc on my Summer schedule. I miss the times we spent together on the links; it was great fun on the course and, always, at the pub after our matches.

I haven't seen Tom and Mary since last year, when you were last here.

Let me offer you the very best of wishes on this wonderful time: to be with family and to enjoy reaching a hallmark in life.

With great apprecation, love, and admiration, I am your friend, Frank
